1. What is rBST?
   
   rBST (Rocombinant Bovine Somatatropin) is a synthetic version of the naturally occurring hormone BST (Bovine Somatatropin) produced by cows. After a decade of research, the FDA approved the use of rBST to increase milk production in dairy cows.



2. Is there a test for rBST?
   
   Currently there is not a test for rBST. There is no difference in the molecular structure of rBST and BST.



3. What is Clover Farms Quality Assurance Program?

   Clover Farms farm inspector works closely with our family farms to assure they have the most sanitary up to date equipment and healthiest cows to achieve quality standards which exceed federal guidelines for freshness and purity.

   Due to growing consumer concerns, as part of our Quality Assurance Program, we have now asked our Clover Farms family farmers to pledge not to use the artificial growth hormone rBST.

   Clover Farms has this same standard of excellence in all our healthful milks, delicious teas and 100% juices.

*No significant difference has been shown in milk from cows treated with artificial growth hormones.
